Bio
Shuang Wu [sh-u-awn] is a designer and educator who bridges her creative practice between Kansas City and Shanghai. Her work spans diverse multimedia, ranging from traditional print to digital media and interactive platforms. With a focus on seamlessly blending approachability and informative elements, her creative exploration resonates with audiences through both multicultural and artistic lenses.
Shuang holds both MFA and BFA degrees in Graphic Design from MICA, where she previously taught part-time. Her works have earned international recognition from various institutions, including Communication Arts, Dezeen, the Society of Typographic Arts (STA), and the International Design Awards (IDA).
